A Poem

Hey! Here's my very first attempt to write a poem. Well firstly I presented it in front of my mother and now I am sharing it with all of you.... It's specially for you my reader. Hope you love it!!!!!

                            A  POEM

     Today it's my desire to write a poem
          Oh! not just of myriad words
Nor just  compiled with  love and zest
But a poem to bring a smile on your face.

A lovely poem which will make you think of me,
And of the stars and our afternoon meals,
And then will take you to the lands of serenity,
Where you'll find the sun kissing the infinity.

A poem which will make you love me more than you do
And then your cold fathomless grey eyes will even fail to explain me how much I mean to you,
Oh! It won't just be a phrase of  consonants and vowels,
But a necklace woven with  beads of love and aeipathy.

A poem which will make the stars scintillate
with all their energies,
And the scent of rain on dry earth will open the doors of your home and make their ways towards me
And then the rustling leaves will make the sound of my door bell,
And then you will wait for me to open the door with avidity.

A poem which will impregnate you with a new lease of life when you feel low,
And will make your corse sweat with blobs of hard work,
Which will lead you to the lands ,
Where your every dream will come true.

Oh! Yes I wanna write a poem
Which will lead my ways towards you and yours towards me,
A Poem which a soul mate will write for her soulmate,
Where the moonglade will be mizpah between you and me...

Happy Republic day

....It was a dark night. A Terrifying, hedious, night with weary winds.witches started sobbing. Sky was lashing out  thunder and lightning. Angry dark clouds were not letting the moon shine.....and and... d the  young bird was finding it's shelter in the stormy winds and rains. It was all left alone,totally frightened.drops of rain were beating hard against its young wings. It was longing for nothing but just a secure shelter. The cages of fear,hatred ,domination were trying to chase it. It started praying for beam of light with all endeavours........and there suddenly it saw a ray of light. It was a bright illuminating spark of hope. And there it was the messiah CONSTITUTION.
        Well, it is Constitution and democracy, which makes it possible for each and every individual to live freely , breath freely without fear. I feel thankful being born in a society where democracy reinforced by constitution is deeply rooted. So what is constitution?
       Well I say it is the blanket in the stormy winter, a roof giving shade in the summers and an umbrella in the rains.  It is the shield which protects us from the jaws of discrimination, injustice,  violence ,social isolation. It is something which ensures us to live with equality ,freedom, peace ,fraternity ,justice. It is the mirror which enables everyone to cast their own reflection . It is the driving force which makes this society a better place to live. It's not just a draft or a piece of paper but a system which keeps us together,which ensures each and every individual to live with unity, integrity, liberty of faith, thought, expression and worship.
     Well this is my attempt to express my gratitude towards Constitution on this 69th Republic Day. Lastly, I do hereby adopt, enact and give to myself this constitution.
